On Sunday, April 17, 2011, Amtrak will be upgrading their Reservation and Ticketing system which will cause it to be unavailable for a portion of the day.

Amtrak will have extremely limited abilities to both issue tickets, provide train status information, and create or modify reservations during this period.

Credit card payments by the internet, telephone, and travel agency outlets will not be available.  Quik-Trak kiosks will also be unavailable.

Amtrak is asking that customers make arrangements to purchase and pick up your tickets before Sunday.
